Armand Mastey

Surrounded by his loving family, on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at the age of eighty-eight. Armand Mastey lived a life defined by love of family, pride in his grandchildren, and dedication to the traditions, customs and beliefs of his Moroccan Jewish heritage. Devoted husband of his adored wife Nelly Mastey née Mamane for sixty-one beautiful years. Beloved father and father-in-law of Patrick Mastey and Erika Finkelstein, Vera Mastey and Jonathan Harris, and Laurent Mastey and Marcie Gandell. Cherished Papi of Matthew Harris, Olivier Mastey, Remy Mastey, Aidan Harris, Juliette Mastey, Alex Mastey, and Sacha Harris. Treasured brother of Max Mastey, Raphael Mastey, Isaac Benmoha z”l, Denise Teper z”l, Suzanne Bensoussan z”l, Rachel Amir z”l, and Aimée (Ahouva) Mastey z”l, and dear brother-in-law to many. Armand will be missed deeply by his extended family, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and all who had the privilege to know him. The family wishes to express gratitude to the staff of the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit at the Jewish General Hospital for their care and compassion.

Funeral service will take place at Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Thursday, March 5 at 12:00 p.m. Burial at the Baron de Hirsch Community Foundation Cemetery, de la Savane.
