Bonita Sue Prestridge Sandifer passed on May 18, 2026, at the age of 79. She was born on December 08, 1946 in Lake Charles to Eldridge "T-Model" and Fern Oglesby Prestridge.
She is survived by her son, Robby Sandifer (Dawn Renee Duncan); daughters, Tina Chambers and Tammy Post (Paul Fontenot); brother, Glenn Prestridge, sister, Dolores Fields (Pete); 11 grandchildren; and 28 great grandchildren.
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Sandifer; brothers, John Prestridge, Jim Prestridge, and Clyde Prestridge; and a sister, Sybil Severe.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles 3001 Ryan Street Lake Charles on Thursday, May 21, 2026 from 11:00 PM until time of services at 1:30 PM.
