Christiane Pétrin

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Christiane Pétrin, who passed away at the Maniwaki Hospital on May 8th, 2026, at the age of 54.She was the beloved daughter of the late Laurier Pétrin and the late Nicole Morissette.Christiane was the devoted mother of Sarah (Brandon), Stephanie (Chase), and Scott Jr. She also shared 40 wonderful years of love and companionship with her longtime partner, Scott Howson.She was a proud and loving grandmother to Ridley, Rowan, Rhea, Ryan, Dakota, Gunner, and Braxton, who brought immense joy to her life.Christiane was predeceased by her brother, Francis. She will be fondly remembered by her extended family, numerous relatives, and many dear friends whose lives she touched through her kindness, warmth, and caring spirit.Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.The family would like to extend their gratitude to Dr. Patrick Legault, and all of the staff at the Maniwaki Hospital, for their great care and kindness throughout her battle. The environment that they offered, made her feel safe and hopeful for her journey ahead.
