Diane Jean Hulagrocki

Diane Hulagrocki, 71, passed away peacefully at home on May 7, 2026, surrounded by those who loved her.

Diane was born on September 20, 1954, in Richmond Landing, Ontario, to Gerald and Evelyn Reid. She was one of many children. Diane eventually moved to Northwestern Ontario and, at the time of her passing, called Kenora home.

In addition to her parents, Diane was predeceased by Terry, her much loved husband of 31 years, who passed in March of this year. Together, they shared a love for the outdoors and spent many happy years fishing and camping.

She is lovingly remembered by her daughters Christine, Crystal, and Karen (Rob); her faithful companions Georgie and Sunny; and her grandchildren, Kimberly, Shelley, Sasha, Mackenzie, and Tristan.

A hard working and dedicated woman, Diane brought her talents to a variety of jobs throughout her life before retiring from Frosted Foods when the business closed in 2022. She was proud of her affiliation with the Royal Canadian Legion as a dedicated member of the Women’s Auxiliary.

Diane was a genuine hidden gem, facing the adversities of life with fierce determination, including her final battle with cancer. Anyone fortunate enough to have known her, witnessed the kindness of her enormous heart and always appreciated her honesty and strength. She will be missed beyond words.
