Our precious daughter Evelynn Nalani Royal entered the arms of Jesus on May 6, 2026. She was brought into the world on May 7, 2026 surrounded by her parents.
Though her time with us was far too short, Evelynn brought immeasurable love, hope, and joy to those who awaited her arrival. Nalani stems from the Hawaiian name meaning "The Heavens", she will always be remembered for the love she inspired and the beautiful mark she left on our hearts.
Evelynn is survived by her mother, Savannah Royal; her father, Taylor Royal; siblings, Nathan, Benjamin, Phillip, Nevaeh, and Charlotte; maternal grandparents: Harold Chappell Jr. and April Chappell; paternal grandmother, Angie Royal; maternal great-grandmother; Becky Johnson (Don); paternal great-grandfather, Hoyt Martin (Mary).
She is preceded by her paternal grandfather, Russell Royal Sr.; maternal great-grandfathers, Harold Chappell Sr. and Marvin Miller Sr.; maternal great-grandmother, Doris Worley; paternal great-grandmothers, Faye Martin and Wilma Royal; paternal great-grandfathers, Frank Taylor and Percy Royal Sr.
A funeral service for Evelynn will be held on Friday, May 15, 2026 at 3:00 pm at Dillard Funeral Home, Gentry Memorial Hwy, Pickens, South Carolina. Evelynn will be laid to rest at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
