Frank was born on May 28th, 1978 in Belleville, Illinois to Frank Sr. (father deceased) and Hui Cha (mother). Frank William Schultz passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, May 7th, 2026 leaving behind his wife (Mai), mother (Hui Cha), sister (Gloria), family, friends, and loved ones.
Frank was a high school star football player “running back” and received top awards and trophies in Buffalo, New York. Frank moved to California and enlisted in the United States Navy meeting his future wife of 27 years (Mai) while stationed in Japan.
Frank served his Country as a Navy Man on the “Freedom’s Flagship” USS Independence CV-62 and on the “Battle Cat” USS Kitty Hawk CV-63.
On his return to civilian life, Frank was the heart of Union Pacific's Roseville Yard, where he worked for close to two decades, always bringing positivity and warmth to everyone around him.
Frank was known for his kindness, generosity, and unwavering support for his loved ones and friends. No one ever saw Frank angry or upset, regardless of the circumstances, and his presence uplifted the spirits of everyone he met. Frankie’s dedication, cheerful and jovial presence benefited all who knew him. Absent from the body and present with the Lord now: 2 Corinthians 5:8. Frank’s service to his Country, dedication to his family, and contributions to his job will be missed, but not forgotten.
