Gerald (Gerry) Brennan

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Brennan, of Kitigan Zibi, who passed away on March 28, 2026, at the Maniwaki Hospital at the age of 86. He was the beloved son of the late Harry Brennan and the late Elizabeth Carle.

He is survived by his loving wife, Kate Odjick; his children: Allen (Jeannette), Maria (Jeannor), and Lisa (James); his grandchildren: Chad, Cory, Callum, Cassandra, and Lara; and his great-grandchildren: Mia, Maverick, Basil, Keythin, Kailey, Adele, Malachi, Harmony, and Lucas.

He will also be fondly remembered by his brothers and sisters: Barbara Tenascon, Julia Crite, Lawrence Brennan, Lucille Brennan, Sandra Soroca, James Brennan, Carol Brennan, Frances Brennan, David Brennan, Grace Brennan, Jackie Brennan, as well as his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, uncles, aunts, and many friends.

He was predeceased by his son, Basil, his brother, Albert, and sister Geraldine Cameron.

In accordance with Mr. Brennan’s last wishes, a religious service will be held on Friday, April 10, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Church, 306 Rue Fafard, Maniwaki. The family will be present at 10:30 a.m. to receive condolences and share fond memories.

The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to the doctors and nurses at Hull and Maniwaki Hospitals, as well as the CLSC, for the kind and compassionate care given to their father. Your dedication provided comfort to the family.

Following the service, the family invites everyone to join them at the Kitigan Zibi Community Hall, 311 Fafard Street to share stories and a meal together.
