Janna Maria Wildt

Janna Maria Wildt (Wilhelm) passed away Sunday, May 24, 2026 at the age of 70. She was born to Gordon and Peggy (Hughes) Wilhelm on July 3, 1955.

She grew up in Boonville, IN and graduated from IVY Tech with a certified surgical technologist degree in 1991. Janna retired from a long career with Surgicare in 2015. She greatly enjoyed gardening, spending time with her grandchildren and traveling with her loving husband of 35 years.

Janna was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Beth Singleton; brother, Tim Wilhelm; nephew, Carson Miller; sisters in law, Carol Wildt, Suzi Wildt, and Dot Kissinger; and brothers in law, Robert Wildt and Dave Smithhart.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas Wildt; daughters, Felicia Hostettler (Byron), Erin Loftus (Sean), Samantha Hamilton (Kent); son, Thomas Wildt II (Jennifer); grandchildren, Cody (Marissa), Devan, Kamen, Landyn, Isaac, Shelby and Erianna; great-grandchildren, Nyelli and Noah; brother, Steve Wilhelm; sister, Terri Smithart; brothers in law, Ron and Gil Wildt; sister in law, Barbara Wildt; and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank all the doctors and nurses at St. Vincent CVICU.

A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 2, 2026 at Alexander West Chapel. Friends and family may visit from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Monday, June 1, 2026 and from 10:00 a.m. until service time on Tuesday at the funeral home.
