Joseph C. LaBarge

Joseph C. LaBarge, age 64, of Canton, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, May 9, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. In keeping with Joe’s wishes, there will be no funeral services.

Joe is survived by his loving wife, Destiney LaBarge of Canton; his daughter, Sandra (Coy) Henderson of Midland, Texas; and his son, Zackry LaBarge of Waddington. He also leaves behind two cherished grandchildren, Bryce and Claire Henderson; and his sister, Darlene (Roger) Winters of Lisbon.

Born on May 13, 1961, in Ogdensburg, Joe was the son of the late Calvin and Rachel (Marshall) LaBarge. He attended Heuvelton Central School and later married Destiney Eastman on December 22, 2015.

Throughout his life, Joe worked as an independent truck driver, construction worker and also worked for the Ogdensburg Bridge & Port and the Rail Road. He was known for his strong work ethic and willingness to lend a helping hand. Outside of work, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles and snowmobiles, and spending time with those he loved most. Above all, Joe treasured his family and the many friendships he made throughout his life.
