Judy Nichols Lane, age 70 of Knoxville, passed away May 7, 2026.
She was a loving mother and grandmother.
She worked for Gibson’s Green House. Judy loved working with flowers and plants.
She is preceded in death by her first husband, Dennis Dixon; second husband, William Lane; parents, James and Marie Nichols; sister, Jamea Gambrell; grandmother, Leona Gibson.
She is survived by, daughters, Amy (Jeff) Smith, Christie (Justin) Kalmbach, and Tehya (Dustin) Humphreys; grandchildren, Nathan, Madelyn, Olivia and Gavin; sisters, Pam (Shawn) Bracken, Vickie (Scott) Greene and Elizabeth (Chris)Powell; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends 5-7 pm Monday at Weaver’s chapel with a service to follow at 7 pm. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 am Tuesday at Piney Grove Cemetery for an 11 am graveside service.
