Juliette Guillotte

in Salons Funéraires Désourdy

Jill, Nana, NanaNana, Mrs. Clippit,

passed away peacefully at the Manoir Lac Brome, on April 11th, 2026, surrounded by family at the age of 97.

She is predeceased by her parents, Eugene and Georgiana, her brothers, Alfred (Annette), Norm (Doris), her sister Cécile (Jacques), her husbands, William (Bill) Blackwood and Douglas (R.D) Quinton.

In recent years she was predeceased by her granddaughter Kayley Ross, her only son Robert William Blackwook, her beloved sisters-in-laws, Huguette (Guillotte) and Madeleine Garneau as well as many other dear friends.

Jill will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Susan Blackwood (John Ross), her grandson, Conor (Michelle), her great-grandchildren, Alice and Charles, her brothers Raymond Guillotte and family, Louis Guillotte and family, her daughters-in-laws, Heather (Ross) and family and Dean (Brebner) and family. She remains “Aunt Jill” to many Blackwood nieces and nephews, and to the Eagle Island cousins.

Jill was personable and had a wonderful sense of humour. Her bicultural attitude and an ability for witty and humorous repartee always put others at ease. She asked to be remembered for her volunteerism which gave her great pleasure and from which she gained so much.

The family wishes to thank the staff at the Manoir Lac Brome and devoted caregivers Barb and Randy, the staff at l’Institut Nazareth et Louis-Braille (INLB) and CELA, Centre for Equitable Library Access, for the gift of “Victor”.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 2nd, 2026, at 11am at the St-Paul Anglican Church in Knowlton, Qc.
