Michelle D. Salter (née Brodeur) passed away at the Hotel-Dieu, on Monday, May 4, 2026, at the age of 81. Wife of the late John L. Salter and daughter of the late Joseph Brodeur and the late Annette Lareau.
She leaves to mourn her beloved children Karen (Tim Snell and his children Vanessa and Maxwell), Linda, Steven (Josianne Grenier); her grandchildren Henry, Morgan, Owen, Madyson, Nathan and Loganne. She was predeceased by her brothers Jean-Pierre (Micheline Thivierge), Paul (Claire Furse) and sister-in-law Edna Meigs. She also leaves behind her sister-in-law Marilyn Findlay (late Bevan Salter/the late Elaine) and she will be missed by numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends.
The family will receive condolences at the Cass Funeral Home, 3006 College St. Sherbrooke (Lennoxville) on Saturday, May 30 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Burial to follow at the St. Michel Cemetery, Sherbrooke.
