In her ninety-second year, surrounded by her loving family, on Sunday Feb 8th, 2026 in Boca Raton, Florida. Beloved wife of the late William Marksfield for thirty five years. Cherished mother and mother-in-law of Judith and Albert (Gozlan), Jo and Eric (Aronoff). Adored grandmother of Alissa and Zach (Barsky), Alex Aronoff, Samantha and Sean (Myers) and Jeremy Gozlan. Proud great grandmother of Lily and David Barsky. Dear sister of Elaine Mansback Berk. Predeceased by her parents, Jack and Frances Malkin.
Harriet was born in Easton, PA in 1934 and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dentistry. She practiced Dental Hygiene in New York City before meeting the love of her life at a singles weekend at Grossinger’s Resort and subsequently moved to Montreal, where she lived for 33 years. She was an athlete, an avid bridge player and a tireless volunteer.
Harriet will be fondly remembered as a wise, courageous and beautiful woman, and sadly missed by all whose lives she touched.
Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon W, on Sunday, February 15 at 11 a.m. Burial at the Temple Emanu El Beth Sholom Congregation section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield.
