Helen Slavin (née Archambault)

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Helen on Thursday, January 1, 2026 in her 82nd year. Devoted wife of the late Jack Slavin. Beloved mother of Darren (Rachel Shizgal), and Reisha (Shmari Dergel). Loving sister of Rhona (Fred Golland). Loving sister-in-law of Evelyn Werbler (the late Jack Werbler). Proud “Bubby” of Eden Slavin, Anna Slavin, Shuey Fish (Liora), Eli Fish, Leah Dergel, Aryeh Dergel, Naftali Dergel (Sarah), Avraham Dergel and Moshe Dergel. Proud great ”Bubby” of Clara Bella Dergel. Helen was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Monday, January 5 at 12:00 p.m. Burial at the Beit Abraham Family Estates Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, D.D.O. Shiva at her son Darren's home.
