Richard Leo Blais, 72, of Yarmouth, Maine, passed away on May 3, 2026. He was born on March 2, 1954, in Lewiston, Maine, to Paul and Jeannine Blais.
Richard attended St. Dominic’s High School and, following his graduation, proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. His years of service reflected his dedication, discipline, and commitment to others.
He is survived by his son, Andrew Blais; his brothers, Paul Blais and Roland Blais; and his sisters, Lucy Blais and Rachel Blais. He was predeceased by his parents, Paul and Jeannine Blais, and his brothers, Dennis Blais and Roger Blais.
Richard will be remembered for his service, his devotion to his family, and the life he built with quiet strength and resilience.
Services at the Maine Veterans Cemetery will be held at a later date.
