Roxana Sherwood Murray passed on May 2, 2026, at the age of 82, having been born on November 16, 1943, in Kansas City, Missouri, a daughter of the late Edwin and Gertrude Sherwood.
She is survived by her children, Andrew (Shannon) Poinsette and Kelly Poinsette; step-children, David (Charlotte) Murray, Kathy Farrell; grandchildren, Kelsie, David Paul, Austin, Kaitlyn, Elizabeth, Dylan, Drew, Rylie, and Madison; and great grandchildren, Noelle, Solea, Maria, Skylyn, Melanie, William P., Jeremiah, Lydia, and Samuel; and her very best friend, Jan Carter.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, William Murray; brother Greg Sherwood; and step-son, Greg Murray.
A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 30, 2026 with calling one hour prior at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 6750 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46804.
