Shayla Roslyn Wechsler (née Moskovitch)

It is with profound sadness that the family of Shayla Wechsler announces her passing on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at the age of ninety-three.

Devoted wife of the late Maurice Wechsler for sixty-nine years. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Gary and Wendy Wechsler, Arthur and Arielle Wechsler, and Neil and Andrea Wechsler. Adoring grandmother of Stuart and Lindsay, Lorne and Eden, Benjamin, Laurence, Alexandra, and James; and great-grandmother of Cole and Charlotte. Daughter of the late Sadye and the late Saul Moskovitch. Shayla was a beautiful, elegant woman who will be fondly remembered by her family and many friends with whom she had a special bond. Special thanks to Shayla’s incredibly kind caregivers, Astrid, Carol, and Anabelle.

Funeral service from Paperman & Sons 3888 Jean Talon St. W., Montreal, on Sunday, April 19, at 12:00 pm. Burial at the Shaar Hashomayim Cemetery, rue Foret. Shiva at her home.
