William Carl Taylor

William Carl Taylor, age 72, passed on May 7, 2026, and was a resident of Anniston, Alabama.

Mr. Taylor is preceded in death by his parents; William Sr and Joanne Taylor, and his father-in-law and mother-in-law; Robert and Jewel Baker.

He is survived by his wife Kathy Taylor, his sisters; Laura Panneton and Beth Baechtold (Tim), and his brother Brian Taylor (Di) along with several nieces and nephews.

William was lovingly known as "Butch" by his family and friends. He was a good man who was very dedicated to the things and people he loved. He served as a 50-year member of I.B.E.W. local union #136 and was also a long term member of the Anniston Lions Club. "Butch" will be greatly missed by all of those who had the privilege of knowing him.

Visitation will be held at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary, 1329 Wilmer Ave, Anniston, AL 36201, on May 10, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm, followed by the Funeral from 3:00 pm to 3:30 pm.
