James Warren Best

Warren Best, owner of James C. Best & Son General Contractors Inc., passed away peacefully on May 7, 2026, at the age of 70 in Oakhurst, Ca.

He was a loving husband, and father, papa, brother, uncle, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Warren enjoyed working in his shop, woodworking, building homes and fulfilling the dreams of his clients, the outdoors, and being with friends and family. He is known for his kindness, humor, strength, and generosity - he knew no strangers.

He is survived by his wife, Roni; daughters, Deja and her husband Michael, Sabryna and her husband Shane; grandchildren, Piercen, Ella, and Aubrey. He is also survived by his sister, Tarie.

A Celebration of Life will be held on June 13, 2026 at 2:00 pm at Mountain Christian Center, 40299 Hwy. 49, Oakhurst, Ca 93644.

His memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
