Evelyn Esther Polisuk

It is with great sorrow that we announce the death of Evelyn Esther Polisuk, who passed away on January 20, 2026, leaving to mourn family and friends.

She was predeceased by her husband Gerald Polisuk, and her parents, Louis and Ray (Winiker) Fox.

She is the dear mother and mother-in-law of Michael and Maya, and Richard and Alena. Devoted grandmother of Joshua and Lauren, Laura and Edun, Ariella, David, and Sarah. Sister and sister-in-law of Alvin and the late Valerie Fox, and her late brother-in-law Sam Polisuk. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Born and raised in Montreal, she worked with her husband for many years as a bookkeeper. Moving to Toronto with her husband, to be with her sons and grandchildren, she always missed Montreal cuisine and loved winters in Florida.

Evelyn was such a wonderful person - a combination of competence, good sense, respect and love. She touched many lives in meaningful ways. She is already deeply missed.
