Annie Virginia Jentzen

Annie Virginia Jentzen, 83, of Flint, Michigan, passed away peacefully on May 5th, 2026. She was born on May 4th,1943 in Cardwell, Missouri and lived a life rooted in faith, family, and simple joys.

Annie was a devoted wife to her beloved husband, Walter Wayne Jentzen, and a mother to her daughters, Rosalie Allred (James) and Rebecca Middleton (Troy). A cherished sister to John Franklin Jones (Nancy), Zola Matsumoto (Tom), Mary Patricia Chandanais (David), Isaac Lincoln Jones (Sherry), and Natalie L. Jones. A devoted grandmother to Ryan James Allred (Kristen), Amanda Joy Blom (Jeremy), Christopher Wayne Allred (Rande), Cody J Middleton (Rachael), and Payton S. Middleton. And a Great Grandma (GIGI) to Peyton Allred, Liam Allred, Ivory Allred, Ryleigh Blom, and Brantley Blom.

She was a proud member of Flint First Wesleyan Church, Annie’s life reflected her deep commitment to her faith and community. Annie had a passion for arts and crafts, and she especially loved knitting, crocheting, baking, and creating with her hands. She will always be remembered for making what many called the world’s best chocolate chip cookies and her unforgettable yeast dinner rolls that brought family and friends together.

More than anything, Annie will be remembered for her enduring faith and her dedication to her relationship with God. She lived a life grounded in her beliefs, and it is through that devotion that she will be remembered by those who knew her best.

Annie was preceded in death by her parents, Virgelene Lavilla McFarland and John Burnice Jones, her siblings Franklin Jones and Mary Patricia Chandanais and son in law Troy D. Middleton.

Visitation will be held at Brown Funeral Home 1480 E Hill Rd. Grand Blanc MI, 48439 on Thursday May 7th, 2026 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm and Friday May 8th, 2026 from 11:00 - 12:00 with the funeral service beginning at 12.

Annie Virginia Jentzen will be buried at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery.
