Ernest Michael Moszkowicz

Ernest Moszkowicz, age 79, of Houston, passed away Tuesday April 14th, 2026. He was born on October 1st, 1946, to parents Joe E. Moszkowicz and Zofie (Mazyn) Moszkowicz in Chappell Hill Texas. He married Ann Regina Lott on February 22, 1977, and they raised 5 children together.

Ernest spent his professional life first as a plumber, but primarily he owned and operated his own metal recycling business. During his time as a plumber, he obtained his master plumbing license. He enjoyed time with his family and relaxing at home.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Ann Moszkowicz; his son, Allen Lott; son-in-law, Justin Lewis; his grandson, Jace Lewis; his parents, Joe and Zofie Moszkowicz; his brothers, Julian and Max Moszkowicz; and his sister, Virginia Meschwitz.

He is survived by his four daughters, Carrie Majewski and husband Jeff; Stacey Cater and husband Randy; Tracey Lewis; Beth Dixson and husband Shawn; his five sisters, Bebe Gurka and husband Joe; Angie Herridge and husband John; Shirley Ray and husband Gene; Joann Cooper; and Mary Ann Moszkowicz; Ten grandchildren Michael, Sarah, Tyler, Jessica, Tristan, Austin, Lauren, Megan, Jonathan, and Reed; Thirteen great-grandchildren, Zach, Alec, Juliette, Cooper, Addison, Beau, Juliet, Sebastian, Parker, Ronan, Carson, Allen, and Alice.

The family will receive friends and family for the viewing Sunday, April 19th, 2026, at 11am. Funeral service will follow the viewing at 1pm at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway Houston, Texas 77039.
