Mrs. Anne Thibodeau (formerly Simpson)

1942 – 2026

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Anne Thibodeau at St. Mary’s Hospital, following a long and courageous battle.

She leaves to mourn her beloved son, Bob (Miriam), and her cherished grandchildren, Mia and Evan. Anne is survived by her brothers, Mike Thibodeau (Gerri) of Leamington, and David Thibodeau (Cynthia) of Ottawa, as well as her cousin, Pat Trepanier (Bernie), also of Ottawa. She was predeceased by her former husband, Claude Simpson, in 2004.

Anne will be dearly missed by her many nieces and nephews, and her absence will be deeply felt by her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her.

A celebration of Anne’s life for her family and friends will be held on Saturday, April 11 at 11:00 a.m. at J.J. Cardinal Funeral Home, 2125 Rue Notre-Dame, Lachine, QC. Visitation for will take place on Friday, April 10 from 3:00–5:00 p.m. and 7:00–8:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Mary’s Hospital in Montreal, or the Anglican Church of All Saints by the Lake in Dorval.
