Amy Elizabeth Golub, 48, of Columbia, MO, died May 13, 2026, at her home in Columbia. She was born December 11, 1977, in Columbia, MO, to Clint and Judy (Basset) Meacham.
Amy was a hardworking mother who dedicated herself to life’s most important role—raising her son. She cared for her home with pride, filled it with warmth, and laughter.
Amy enjoyed listening to Taylor Swift music, horses, cats, playing Among Us, and ASPCA.
Survivors include her husband, Matthew Golub of Columbia, her son, Christian Golub of Columbia, three brother, Aaron Mecham of Harrisburg, MO, Travis Mecham of Broken Arrow OK, and Joe Meacham, aunts, Lisa Walls Bassett of Glastonbury, CT and Linda Bassett, uncles, Mark Bassett and Gardiner Bassett, Jr., nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Clint and Judy ( Bassett) Meacham, a brother, Paul Meacham, grandparents, Gardiner and Edna Bassett and an aunt Susan Bassett.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to The Salvation Army or ASPCA in Amy’s honor.
