Brent Laurin

Brent Laurin, 87, of Lachute, Quebec and Orleans, Ontario, passed away on October 1, 2025. Born on August 29,1938, in Lachute, Quebec, Brent lived a full and spirited life defined by dedication, laughter and love for family, friends and community.

Brent was the long time Production Superintendent at the Price Wilson Pulp and Paper mill, where he worked with pride, skill and integrity. His colleagues remember him for his steady leadership and genuine care for those around him.

Outside of work, Brent’s life was filled with energy and friendship. He was passionate about hockey, curling and cross country skiing, and fixing up his rental properties. Anything that could be driven, Brent was a fan of such as snowmobiles, ATVs, motorcycles and convertibles. He was a proud member of both the Brownsburg Curling Club and the Brownsburg Legion, where he shared countless stories, smiles and moments of camaraderie.

Brent was preceded in death by his parents, Eddie and Gwen eth Laurin, his sister, Joan; his beloved wife, Vivien; and his son, Gerry. He is survived by his daughters, Cindy (Tom Carlisle) and Cathy (Ron Manditsh); and his cherished grandchildren CJ (Andrew Cramer), Chris (Brett Ruttle), and Brent.

Those who knew Brent will remember his humor, his strength, and deep devotion to his family and friends. He leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience and laughter.

A celebration of life in his memory will be held on Monday, October 13, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Salon Roland Ménard Inc., 395 rue Grâce, Lachute (Qc) J8H 1M3. The family will welcome relatives and friends starting at 1:00 p.m.
