Charleston Rae Cline

14 mai 2026 Bryson, Quebec Dignity Memorial

Charleston Rae Cline age 66, passed away on May 14, 2026, in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was born on August 8, 1959, in Dayton, Ohio. Charleston lived a life filled with love, dedication, and unwavering commitment to his family and passions.

Charleston was the beloved husband of Deena Cline, with whom he shared nearly 39 years of marriage.Their love story began in the summer of 1985 at a Christian singles gathering in Kettering, Ohio. A chance invitation from an insurance salesman led to their first meeting at a picnic; a moment that blossomed into a lifetime of devotion. Together, Charleston and Deena built a life centered on love and companionship. They cherished spending time together watching sports – especially football and ice hockey – going to movies and dining out in their favorite restaurants like The Paragon for special occasions.

Charleston was the proud father to his daughter, Cassandra and found immense joy in being a grandfather to Colton Lee and Brynleigh Cline. His twin brother, Carleton held a special place in his heart as well.

Charleston’s family extended beyond immediate relatives. He was deeply loved by his in-laws; Deborah and Gary Cook, Drake and Terry Talbert, Durinda and Mike Osborne, Donna and Bruce Karda, as well as numerous friends, relatives and co-workers who were touched by his kindness. Preceding him in death were his parents, Charles and June Cline; grandparents Albert and Ollie Sakal; grandparents, Jess and Sarah Richards; younger brother Chris and niece Natalie Cline.

Charleston’s professional life was marked by nearly five decades of excellence in graphic arts, printing production and plate-making. His career began thanks to his grandfather, Alby Sakal’s encouragement to take a job at Monarch Marking. It wasn’t long before Charleston’s talents were recognized in the art department – a field where he became legendary according to his business partner and friend Scot Terry. His dedication to his craft left an indelible mark on those who worked alongside him.

Outside of work, Charleston was known for his incredible handyman skills around the house and yard. Whether repairing cars or tackling home projects, he approached every task with skill and pride.

As a young man, he played drums and sang with his brothers in their own band – a testament to his creativity and passion for music. Charleston’s loving spirit touched everyone he met. He never knew a stranger and had an innate ability to make people feel valued and cared for. His sense of humor brought joy to those around him, while his kind heart left an enduring legacy of generosity and compassion.

Above all else, Charleston treasured his family. His greatest joys came from spending time with those he loved most – his wife Deena, daughter Cassandra, grandchildren Colton Lee and Brynleigh – and sharing laughter-filled moments with his twin brother, Carleton.

Charleston will be remembered for his smile that could light up any room, his boundless generosity, and the love he poured into every aspect of his life. His memory will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew him. May Charleston’s legacy bring comfort to those who mourn him as they celebrate the remarkable life he lived.
