David Henderson, 77, of Mabank, Texas, passed away on Friday, April 17, 2026. He was the devoted husband of Debra Henderson for 53 years.

Born on March 2, 1949, in Greenwood, Mississippi, David was the son of the late Jim and Letha Henderson.

A proud veteran, David served his country honorably in the United States Army, achieving the rank of Sergeant. He later became a successful business owner in the boilermaker industry. David’s life was a faithful reflection of his deep love for the Lord, and he devoted many years to ministry, touching countless lives through his kindness and service. He found joy in spending time with his family, hunting, and fishing.

David is survived by his loving wife, Debra; his children, Christi and husband, Jeff Elliott, David and wife, Angie Henderson, and Joshua Henderson; his cherished grandchildren, Hannah and husband, Beau Dancer, Hayden Elliott, Faith Henderson, Dawson Henderson, Hadley Elliott, Madie Henderson, and Olivia Henderson; his great-grandson, Brooks Dancer; and his siblings, Jimmy Ray Henderson and Laverne Clanton.

He was preceded in death by his eight siblings.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday, April 24, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home in Mabank, Texas. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home, with interment to follow at Eubank Cedar Creek Memorial Park in Mabank, Texas.

David will be remembered for his unwavering faith, his generosity, and the love he shared with all who knew him.
