It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Doris Courchesne (née Smith) at the age of 90, on May 30, 2026, surrounded by her six children. Our Mom dedicated her life to nurturing her family, creating a warm and loving home, and instilling in those around her the enduring values of love, kindness, and family unity. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Réal Courchesne. She leaves to mourn her children: Donna (Andrew), Terence (Robin), Cindy (Marc), Sandra (Jeff), Wendy (Jay), and Randy (Katie); her cherished grandchildren, Gwendolyn, Emily, Jeffrey, Benjamin, Elizabeth, Kaitlyn, Melanie, Patrick, Nathan, Amy, Todd, Maverick, Malcolm, and Logan; her great-grandchildren; and many relatives and friends. A private family service will be held. Interment will take place at St. Patrick Cemetery in Hinchinbrooke. Notre mère a consacré sa vie à sa famille, créant un foyer chaleureux et aimant, et transmettant à tous ceux qui l’entouraient les valeurs durables de l’amour, de la bonté et de l’unité familiale. Elle est allée rejoindre son époux bien-aimé, Réal Courchesne, qui l’a précédée dans la mort.
