Gitty (Gertrude) Harte (née Libman)

Peacefully on Wednesday, May 27, 2026. Beloved wife and soulmate of the late Robert (Bob) Harte. Loving mother and mother-in-law Celia Harte, Maury Harte and Laurie Martz, Elana Harte and Emma O’Neill-Harte, Efrem Harte and Robyn Toban. Loving grandmother of Daniel, Nathan and Jen, Naomi and Luke; Noah; Jordan, and Lindsay. Proud great-grandmother of Shea, Kai, and Marley. Dearest sister of Ruth Sharon, Bernice and Charles Rosenhek, Chavy and Yona Turvall, Pat and the late Norman Libman, Goldie and the late David Libman. Predeceased by Bob’s siblings and their spouses Suzanne and Billy Herscovitch, Estelle and Hy Frankel. Special thanks to her caregivers Margaret, Gloria, Christine, Sheila, and Rose for their care and compassion. Gitty will be lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
