Irma Rodriguez Vidal, 93, of Miami, FL, passed away on April 25, 2026, at her home.
Born on July 21, 1932, in Havana, Cuba, Irma Vidal Cortiñas Rodriguez was the daughter of Manuel Vidal Cuvelier and Maria Cortiñas Gomez, and the sister of Maria de los Ángeles Vidal. Throughout her life, Irma studied accounting until she married Dad, Jose Rodriguez, and then became a housewife, dedicating her life to raising her children and grandchildren.
She was a loving woman who helped everyone with whatever they needed. Her hobbies included reading, cooking, gardening, and sewing—but most of all, she loved caring for her husband, her children, and her grandchildren. Whenever one of us was feeling sick, she would always take care of us with her love and devotion.
Irma Rodriguez graduated from the University of Havana, Cuba, with a degree in accounting and went on to work as an accountant. She enjoyed reading, cooking, gardening, sewing, and caring for her family.
She is survived by Jose (Tito) Rodriguez Rodriguez; Jose Victor Rodriguez; Luis Leandro Rodriguez; Maria de los Ángeles Rodriguez; Carlos Alberto Rodriguez; daughter-in-law Kim Rodriguez; and her grandchildren Luis Rodriguez Jr., Eric Manuel Rodriguez, Natasha Marie Rodriguez, Anthony Michael Rodriguez, Galo Jimenez Jr., and Alexander Jimenez. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren Madison Rodriguez, Nylah Rodriguez, Leandro Rodriguez, Ava Rodriguez, and Gabriel Rodriguez.
Mom, thank you for being such a loving wife, mother, grandma, and great-grandma. Thank you for giving me the love and the honor of taking care of you—I would do it all again. Rest in peace.
—Your son, Carlos
Mom, may your memory always live among your children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. We love you always ❤️🙏
