With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Jamie Castillo, who left this world on May 13, 2026, at the age of 36. Jamie was more than a devoted husband and loyal friend — he was the kind of person who made others feel safe, welcomed, and deeply cared for. His presence brought comfort, laughter, and strength to everyone lucky enough to know him.
Born on January 12, 1990, in Houston, Texas, Jamie lived a life rooted in love, hard work, and generosity. He had a rare gift for making people feel like family. Whether it was offering a helping hand, showing up without being asked, or simply sitting beside someone who needed support, Jamie gave so much of himself to others without ever expecting anything in return.
To those closest to him, Jamie was the heart of every gathering. He loved bringing people together — especially around the BBQ pit, where family and friends would gather for good food, loud laughter, music, and stories that somehow always got better as the night went on. Those moments became memories that his loved ones will carry forever.
Jamie dedicated 11 years to his work as an AT&T technician, where he was respected not only for his work ethic and dedication, but for the kindness and humility he brought everywhere he went. No matter how tired he was, he always made time to help someone in need. That was simply who he was.
To his wife, Lizbeth, Jamie was not only a husband, but a best friend, protector, and partner in every part of life. To his family, he was a source of wisdom, patience, encouragement, and unconditional love. His nieces, Lucy and Amber, held a special place in his heart, and nothing made him prouder than being part of their lives.
Though our hearts are broken, we are endlessly grateful for the love Jamie gave so freely and the memories he leaves behind. His laugh, his kindness, his strength, and the way he made people feel loved will never be forgotten.
He is survived by his wife, Lizbeth Castillo; his parents, Robert and Armandina; his siblings, Roberto, Matthew, and Isabell; and his beloved nieces, Lucy and Amber.
Jamie Castillo will forever be loved, forever missed, and forever carried in the hearts of those who knew him.
