Jessica Lynn Gillard

Jessica Gillard, a vibrant soul who brought warmth, adventure, and joy to everyone she met, passed away on May 12, 2026, at the age of 53.

Born on April 24, 1973, in Dallas, Texas, Jessica was raised in Richardson, Texas, where she grew up under the loving care of her grandmother, Jessie Jackson. Jessica’s approach to life was simple: she loved to have fun and embraced every moment with an open heart.

Deeply rooted in her faith, Jessica loved Jesus and dedicated her life to serving the Lord in every way that she could. She found a wonderful community of faith and fellowship at Gate Cowboy Church, where her spirit of service and love for others truly shone.

An avid lover of the outdoors and the arts, Jessica’s passions were as vast as they were colorful. She was happiest when she was traveling, camping, and hiking—especially among the majestic, scenic views of Colorado and Oklahoma, where she loved creating unforgettable memories with her family. When she wasn't exploring the wilderness, Jessica could be found immersed in her other favorite things: painting, doing pottery, reading, admiring cars, cooking up a delicious meal, or losing herself in the energy of live music at a concert.

Above all, Jessica adored her family and her faith. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, devotion, and a reminder to always seek out the next adventure.

Jessica’s bright spirit and generous heart will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Her family takes comfort in knowing she is resting in the arms of her Savior, likely exploring the ultimate trails of heaven. Though she is no longer with us, her laughter will echo in our hearts forever.
