Joseph J. Soltis, age 88 of Palmyra, passed away April 23, 2026. He was born February 26, 1938, in Youngstown, Ohio, to parents Joseph and Anna (Manijak) Soltis.
Joseph retired as a foreman with LTV Steel. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Parish. Joe was a former racehorse owner and enjoyed the outdoors. He especially enjoyed his hunting and fishing trips to Canada and relaxing on his property.
He is survived by his children: Cindy (Jerry) Steeber and Joseph (Jennifer) Soltis Jr., his grandchildren: Jason Steeber and Samantha Soltis, his partner Vivian Soltis, his step-son Steven (Aubrey) Bayus, and his sister Ann Serenko.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents and his step-son Dean Bayus.
Friends and family will be received Wednesday, April 29, 2026, from 5:00 – 6:00 PM with a funeral service at 6:00 PM at the Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home, 703 E Main St., Ravenna. A time of fellowship will follow.
