Maria C Saenz, 79, of Melville, New York, passed away on May 15, 2026.

Born on May 15, 1947, Maria will be remembered with deep respect and enduring affection by all who knew her.

Maria’s life was marked by a steady devotion to those she loved, expressed in the quiet strength of presence, care, and constancy. She held her family close and leaves a legacy of love that will continue to be felt across generations.

Maria is survived by her daughters, Laurie Bower (Evan) and Katherine Nava; her grandsons, Michael Blumberg, Eric Blumberg (Emily Levitt), David Blumberg, and Max Nava; her sister, Susan Brunoni; nephews Michael Brunoni and Anthony Brunoni; and her close friend Cheryl Belvis.

Visitation will be held at Beney Funeral Home, 79 Berry Hill Road, Syosset, NY 11791, on Tuesday May 19, 2026, from 9:00 am to 10:30 am.

A Funeral Mass will follow at St. Edward the Confessor Roman Catholic Church, 205 Jackson Ave, Syosset, NY 11791, on Tuesday May 19, 2026, from 11:00 am to 11:45 am.

Interment will take place at Locust Valley Cemetery, 117 Ryefield Rd, Locust Valley, NY 11560, on Tuesday May 19, 2026, from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm.
