Maria Lidia Umana Flores

Maria Lidia Umaña Flores, 73, of Centreville, Virginia, passed away peacefully on May 16, 2026.

Born on June 3, 1952, in Santa Barbara, Honduras, she was the beloved daughter of Maria Angel Umaña and Mercedes Flores. Maria was a woman of profound and unwavering faith. As a devout Christian, she lived her life with a deep love for God, which guided her actions and inspired everyone around her.

In her later years, Maria resided in Centreville, Virginia, with her devoted daughter, Delmy, and remained a central, loving figure in the lives of her large family.

She is survived by her loving husband, Ismael; her cherished daughters, Delmy, Doris, Nohemi, Sara, and Alexandra; and her dear son, Ramon. Her memory will live on forever in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who were blessed to know her.

A memorial service to honor and celebrate Maria’s life and her journey home to the Lord will be held on May 21, 2026, at 10:00a.m. at National Funeral Home, located at 7482 Lee Highway, Falls Church, VA 22042.
