Morris Cherniak

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved patriarch Morris Cherniak On Sunday, May 17, 2026 at the age of ninety-eight. Devoted husband, best friend and soulmate of Evelyn Sirota for sixty-three years. Loving father and father-in-law of Andy Cherniak and Sharon Gabison, Heather and Mark Segal, and Benjie Cherniak. Proud and loving Zaida of Sydney, Jamie, and Matt Segal; Alexa, and Zane Cherniak. Predeceased by his brother Jack and his spouse Ruth; and his parents Isaac and Bessie Cherniak. Cherished uncle of many nieces and nephews. He was a respected, trusted and dedicated pediatrician who positively impacted so many patients and their families. Many thanks to the doctors and staff of the Jewish General Hospital and the Royal Victoria Hospital at the Glen for their compassion and care.
