Raymond Michael Takla

Raymond Michael Takla, of Emerson, New Jersey, passed away on May 16, 2026, at the age of 89. Born on March 16, 1937, in Brooklyn, New York, Raymond lived a life centered around family, hard work, and devotion to those he loved.

Raymond shared 53 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Annette Takla (née LaSasso). Together they built a beautiful life and made Emerson, New Jersey their home for the past 46 years.

A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Raymond is survived by his loving wife, Annette; his sister, Claudette Kassab; his sons, Christopher Takla and his wife Carolyn, Stephen Takla and his wife Kristen, and Paul Takla and his wife Meaghan; and his daughter, Claudia Saia and her husband Bryan. He was a proud and cherished grandfather to seven grandchildren: Maddox, Hudson, Meredith, Sophia, Charlie, Isabelle, and Clara. Raymond is pre-deceased by his brother, Edmund Takla.

Raymond will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his strong work ethic, and the steady presence he brought to those who knew and loved him. His legacy lives on through the family he cherished so deeply.

Visitation will be held at Saint Anthony Orthodox Church, 385 Ivy Ln, Bergenfield, NJ 07621 on May 21, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:45 am, followed by the Funeral Service at the same location on May 21, 2026, at 12:00 pm.

Interment will take place at George Washington Memorial Park, 234 Paramus Rd, Paramus, NJ 07652 on May 21, 2026, at 1:30 pm.
