Shirley Glickman (née Goodenday)

Peacefully, on Saturday, May 16, 2026, in her 96th year. Wife of the late Ralph Glickman. Beloved daughter of the late David Goodenday (Rachel) and the late Dora Prussick. Much-loved mother of Doreen Barmash and Larry (the late Jane) Barmash. Adored sister of Marilyn (the late Harold) Schneider and Naomi (Ken) Pilatzke. Special extended-family mother of Richard (Michelle) Glickman and Toby (Penny) Glickman. Adored Nana of Hilly (Debbie), Shane, Tara (Jonathan), Danielle, Jennifer, and Marissa. Beloved Super Nana of Elle, Max, Jaeden, Julian, and Livia.

Many thanks to her caregiver, Isabelle Pinsky, for her constant love, care, and devotion, and for always going the extra mile when needed. We greatly appreciate the thoughtful care and hands-on attention given by Dr. Mark Karanofsky, in-charge nurse Adrian, and the wonderful staff at the Jewish Eldercare of Hope.

Graveside service on Monday, May 18, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. at Shaar Hashomayim Cemetery, 1250 chemin de la Forêt, Outremont. Shiva following burial at her daughter’s home.
