Truett Andrew Craven, 85, of Humble, died Thursday, May 7, 2026 at Memorial Hermann Hospital in Humble. A native of Mt. Vernon, AR., he has lived in Humble since 1978, and was a self-employed machinery appraiser. Truett proudly served his country in The United States Army. Truett enjoyed hunting, fishing , but he was especially fond of geology and loved "Rock Hounding" and crafting unique items out of the many different types of rocks. Truett also enjoyed the time he got to spend with his family and friends.
A Celebration Graveside service will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, May 11, 2026 at The Houston National Cemetery in Houston.
Truett was preceded in death by his loving wife Betty Craven, parents Truett and Cleo Craven, and by his 2 sisters Mary and Stella.
Truett is survived by his daughters, Alison Roberts and her husband Michael of Howe, TX., and Dina Havranek and her husband Shawn of Humble, and by his granddaughter Tatyana Havranek of Humble.
Truett will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
