William Dean Bundrick

1 mai 2026 Kirkland, Quebec Dignity Memorial

William Dean Bundrick, known lovingly as Dean or "Deano" to those closest to him, passed away on May 1, 2026, in Kingsland, Texas, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was 73 years old.

Born on October 15, 1952, in Columbus, Georgia, Dean grew up with a natural gift for making people laugh, a quality that would define him throughout his entire life. He graduated from the University of Georgia in 1974 and was a lifelong Georgia Bulldogs Football fan. He married the love of his life, Susan Miles, and together they shared 52 wonderful years of partnership, adventure, and devotion.

In 1979, Dean and Susan relocated from Atlanta, Georgia, to San Antonio, Texas, where he would build both a career and a legacy. After a brief stint with IBM, Dean discovered his true calling in commercial real estate. He became a principal at Orion Partners, where he spent 33 years building lasting professional relationships and earning deep respect within the industry. His dedication and leadership were recognized when he served as president of the San Antonio Real Estate Council in 2012. After more than four decades in San Antonio, Dean and his wife moved to the Texas Hill Country, settling in Kingsland in 2022.

Dean was an avid golfer for most of his life. By his own cheerful admission, he was never excellent at the game, but his sense of humor made him the most sought-after playing partner on any course. He also loved lake life, finding true joy behind the wheel of a boat, towing his grandsons across the water and soaking in the laughter and sunshine of those treasured days.

Above all, Dean was known for his infectious smile and remarkable sense of humor. He had a rare gift for finding laughter in any situation and an even rarer gift for bringing that laughter to everyone around him. Whether in a boardroom or on a boat, Dean could light up a room and put people at ease with his quick wit and genuine warmth.

Dean's family takes comfort in the promise of eternal peace and the belief that his joyful spirit lives on in the hearts of all who loved him.

He is survived by his wife, Susan, along with his children, Lindsay Harrison (Austin, TX) and Drew Bundrick (San Antonio, TX). Lindsay is married to Rob Harrison and they have given Dean and Susan two wonderful grandsons, Jack (age 14) and Henry (age 12).

A celebration of life will be held on May 30 in Kingsland, Texas. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Dean at noon at Cedar Sky's (Log Country Cove Resort).

In lieu of flowers, denotations may be made to Sharing the Harvest (Kingsland, TX) or the charity of your choice.
