Bruce George Remillard

13 mai 2026 Kirkland, Quebec Dignity Memorial

Bruce George Remillard, 72, of Parkland, Florida, passed away peacefully on May 13, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family after a courageous battle with cancer. Through every moment of his illness, Bruce carried himself with extraordinary strength, grace, and dignity, never once complaining despite all he endured.

Bruce was a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather, cherished brother, loyal friend, faithful servant of the Lord, entrepreneur, educator, mentor, and philanthropist. He lived a life rooted in hard work, integrity, generosity, faith, and deep love for others. Known for his warm smile, quick humor, and welcoming spirit, Bruce had a remarkable ability to make everyone around him feel valued, encouraged, and cared for.

Born with an incredible work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit, Bruce owned his first business at just sixteen years old. A gifted athlete, he graduated from Hialeah High School in 1971, where he excelled in football, baseball, and track and field. He continued his athletic career on a football scholarship before later graduating with a degree in Special Education from Florida International University.

Bruce married his high school sweetheart, Kathleen Lalor, in 1973, beginning a beautiful marriage that spanned fifty-two years and was filled with unwavering love, loyalty, laughter, and partnership. Together, they built a family grounded in faith, resilience, and compassion.

Throughout his career, Bruce became widely respected in the car wash industry, where his innovation, leadership, and entrepreneurial vision significantly impacted car wash equipment and supply operations. Beyond business, however, Bruce will be remembered most for the way he treated people. He was endlessly generous with his time, faith, wisdom, and resources. Whether mentoring others, supporting families in need, coaching youth sports, serving faithfully in church, volunteering with the Miami Shores Optimist Club and the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, or simply offering encouragement to a friend or stranger, Bruce lived a life of service and compassion.

Above all, Bruce treasured his family. He was immensely proud of his children and grandchildren and found his greatest joy in being surrounded by those he loved. His family remembers him as a role model, a source of strength, a loyal supporter, and someone whose love was steady and unconditional.

Bruce is survived by his beloved wife, Kathleen; his children, Keri, Mark, and Andrew; his eight cherished grandchildren; his sister, Debbie Harmeling; and his brothers, Jerry and Paul Remillard.

Bruce’s life was truly a gift to all who knew him. He leaves behind a legacy of faith, generosity, perseverance, leadership, and love that will continue to live on through the countless lives he touched.

Though he has gone far too soon, his memory will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Bruce’s life on July 18, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. at Babione Funeral Home, Boca Raton, Florida.

"Dear family and friends, please help us honor and celebrate the incredible life of Bruce Remillard. We hope you can share a funny story, a favorite memory or a special anecdote".
