Ruth Posner (née Fefergrad)

Peacefully, in her 92nd year, on Sunday, May 24th, 2026. Beloved wife of the late Louis Posner. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Beverly Posner and Tony Maric, and Alison Posner and Armando Solares. Cherished Bubbie Ruthie of Eric and Melissa-Anne, Scott and Karolina; Jordan, and Evan. Proud great-grandmother of Landon, Ariadrye; Kai and Jude. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Eddie and Shirley Fefergrad; and sister-in-law of the late Bella and the late Morrie Berkowitz, the late Sarah and the late Alfie Schwartz. Ruthie will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends. The family would like to thank the entire staff at the Sunrise Residence for their care, kindness and devotion.

Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W., on Thursday, May 28th at 10:00 am. Burial at the Beth Israel Beth Aaron Congregation Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery in DDO. Shiva at her daughter Beverly’s home following burial until 5:00 p.m., and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., the balance of Shiva will be private.
