Aimé Roy, aged 96, passed away at the Centre d’hébergement de Saint-Casimir on July 5th, 2026.
He was the husband of the late Estelle Gingras and the son of the late Émile Roy and Rose Roy. He lived in Saint-Ubalde.
The family will receive condolences at the church in Saint-Ubalde on Saturday, August 15th, 2026 from 13:00, followed by a religious service and the interment at 14:00.
The funeral arrangements were handled by the Coopérative funéraire de la Rive-Nord.
Mr. Roy leaves behind his children: Marlène (Gérald Martin), Guy, the late Johanne (and the late Claude Lapierre), Mona (Céline Bérubé), Jean (Élaine Legault), Normand (Marlene Imhoff), and the late Stéphane. He also leaves grandchildren, great-grandchildren, siblings, in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.
The family thanks the staff of the CHSLD de Saint-Casimir for their care. Memorial donations can be made to the Fondation des maladies du cœur et de l’AVC du Canada.
