Alain Ross passed away on September 6, 2026, at the age of 77. He was the son of Fernande Létourneau and Paul-Henri Ross, and husband to Francine Deschênes.
He resided in Essipit. The family will receive visitors at La Coopérative funéraire Haute-Côte-Nord–Manicouagan in Les Escoumins. A memorial service will be held on September 6, 2026, at 14:00 at the same location, followed by interment at St-Marcellin cemetery.
