Alan Gustaf Kerr

Alan was born in London England and came to the United States as a young man. As a child he was caught in the blitz by the Nazis in London England. He was placed on a train and taken out of the city for protection with his brother. He made a living as a tailor in the US and also was very adept at building and playing the violin. He married for the first time at 50 years old Floranne Hilsenrad. Floranne was a widow who had three daughters who survives him. Louise Axelberg(Richard Axelberg), Susan Tacherra (Jim Tacherra) and Linda Hilsenrad (Jon Pierce) ; grandchildren, Michelle and Darren Browner, Jacob and Becky Tacherra, Elizabeth and Jesse Tacherra David and Emily Pierce and great grandchildren, James Tacherra and Brody and Ryder Pierce.

He was well loved by all for his humor and musical and showmanship abilities. He loved to entertain and would often play his violin at nursing facilities he was predeceased by his parents and his brother and his brother‘s family.

A Graveside Service will be held at New Center Memorial Park Cemetery, 200 E 43rd Street, 43rd and Liberty Street, Jacksonville, FL 32208, US, on April 24, 2026, at 12:00 pm.
