Alan Trussell Carson, age 96, passed away on August 14, 2026 in Columbus, OH.
He was born July 6, 1930, in Chester Township, Meigs County, Ohio, to Herman Carson and Inez Carson (nee Trussell). He was the second of four children, Herman Jr and Ruth (both deceased) and Joyce of Roanoke, VA. Graduate of Racine High School and The Ohio State University. Served in the US Marine Corps, 1st Lt., Artillery. Employed in Motor Freight management for thirty years. Preceded in death by wife of 73 years, Martha. Survived by daughter Marcia of Columbus and 9 nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday August 26, 2026 at Resurrection Cemetery, 9571 N. High Street, Lewis Center OH, 43035.
