Alexandre Choquette passed away on August 14, 2026, at the age of 76. He was a resident of Amos, son of the late Simon Choquette and the late Alexandrine Michaud. He is survived by his children Pascal (Julie Rouleau), Dave, Manon, Alexandre Jr (Sophie Lefebvre), and Myriam (Marc-André Sabourin); grandchildren Maxime, Élodie, Mahée, Noémie, Axel, Caleb, Élie, and Abel; great-grandson Charles-Casey; siblings Simone, Daniel, David, Marie, Benjamin, Jacqueline, and Denis; in-laws; nephews and nieces, and many relatives and friends.
He will be missed by all who knew him. The funeral services will be held at the Coopérative funéraire de l'Abitibi in Amos.
