Alta Jackson

Alta Esther Jackson was born August 13, 1953 to Asa and Glendora Frailey in Rosiclaire, Illinois.She passed away at her home on August 27, 2026 in Noblesville, Indiana at the age of 73.She will be remembered for her incredible sense of style, her homemade Christmas trees, no bake cookies and magic cookie bars. She loved traveling the blue oceans of the Caribbean and walking on the white sands of the islands with her best friend, husband and soulmate of 43 years, Thomas.She was a beautiful soul, whose light shined brighter than the sun.On August 11, 1984, Alta Ester and Thomas James Jackson were joined together in holy matrimony, and together they raised five children, Gayle, Christy, Tommy, Nikki, and Thomisha.Alta is preceded in death by her parents, her mother and father-in-law EJ and Emmer Jackson, her brother Ricky Frailey, her brother-in-law Timmy Jackson, grandson Eli Jackson, and nephews Asa Frailey, Derrick Jackson, Tyren Miller, and Rickey Jamison.Alta is survived by 15 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews, seven sisters and three brothers.Visitation will be held at Eastern Star Church, 8850 E 106th St, Fishers, IN 46037, US, on September 14, 2026, from 9:30 am to 11:00 am, followed by the Funeral Service at the same location from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.Final resting place will be at Brookside Cemetery, 2900 Brookside Road, Lapel, IN.
