Amanda Jane Delk passed away peacefully with her son by her side on Friday, April 24, 2026 in Jacksonville Florida at the age of 86. She was born February 2, 1940.
Amanda deeply loved her large family and cherished all family time, events and gatherings. She loved her pets dearly with her most recent being Doobie. She loved being outdoors, tending to her plants and flowers. She was an ID specialists with the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office for over 20 years. She was a member of the Wesconnett Assembly of God Church.
Amanda is preceded in death by her son Vernon, daughter Debbie, mother Gladys, father Raleigh, aunt Janice, brother Butch, grandchild Tabbo, great great grandchild Ivory, cousin Ramona and Turk.
Amanda is survived by her son Billy (Pam). Her grandchildren Jani (Parms), Billy James, Johnathan (Marlaina), Matthew (Jinger), Lil’Vernon (Stacy), Bobbie (David), Jodie and Charlie. Her great grandchildren Shayanne, Nate, Justin, Haylee, Kelci, Christopher (Kennedy), Ashlee (Tyler), Lil’ BJ, Bradley, Bryana, Braelynn, Baylee, Lil’ Matthew and Aaliyah. Her great great grandchildren Brighten, Michelle, Rosaleigh, Tre, Lakelyn, Yennifer and Luke.

Visitation will be held at Riverside Event Pavilion, 1373 Memorial Park Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32205, on May 4, 2026, at 11:00 am, followed by a Celebration of Life at the same location at 12:00 pm.
A Committal Service will take place at Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205, on May 4, 2026, at 1:00 pm.
