Anne Turney Wade

Anne Turney Wade, age 88, of Blodgett, Missouri, passed away peacefully at her home on June 2, 2026. She was born on March 12, 1938, in Winner, South Dakota, to the late Doris and Luella (Chetlet) Turney. On November 22, 1957, she married Earl Rice Wade. Anne was a faithful member of the Blodgett Church of Christ, a dedicated Bible teacher, and served as City Clerk of Blodgett. She also worked at Deason’s Store and the Blodgett Post Office, and was involved in the city’s water system development. Known for her servant’s heart, she enjoyed gardening, cooking, canning, and was a beloved 'MawMaw' to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Earl Rice Wade, brother Bob Turney, sisters Alma Lundberg and Darles Boyce, and great-granddaughter Annalyn Wade. She is survived by her children and grandchildren, and her legacy of faith and service will be dearly missed.
